A short hike in Anza Borreo Desert State Park 1.5 hrs away from San Diego. The original plan was to climb Indianhead Peak from Borrego Palm Canyon, but late start and the somewhat difficult terrain changed the objective to explorig the middle section of the canyon. The culmination of the trip was the photo-op of big horn sheeps in the palm oasis.
